Kenmare is a walker's paradise for all levels. The famous Gleninchaquin Park is only a 15 drive which offers breathtaking scenery and landscapes. The walks around the waterfall cascades, streams, woodlands and lakes are accessible for all ages.
Within a 25 minute drive is Irelands famous Killarney National Park with the ancient muckross house and gardens and torc Waterfall which is a must see.
Or if you a real dare devil climb Irelands highest mountain Carrauntoohill at 1,039m and take in the most breathtaking views when you reach the summit. There are guided tours available. Ca. 40 min drive to get there.
